Geocache Description:

This is a Challenge cache so in addition to finding and logging, you also have to satisfy the criteria listed below.

The aim of this challenge is to provide additional motivation for cachers to search out those neglected caches. You know the kind, difficult puzzles, long walks, extreme risks etc.

The challenge requirement is that you must find and log a cache that has not been logged in the previous 364 days. In order for a cache to count it must satisfy the following.

(1) The cache must be active at the time you find it.
(2) The cache must be one listed on geocaching.com and only finds logged on geocaching.com can be taken into consideration.
(2) If you are the FTF on the cache and 364 days have elapsed without a find since the cache was published it can count.
(3) There are no date restrictions so if you meet the criteria for a cache you found prior to this challenge being published, it counts.
(4) To qualify the cache you find must have a physical log (i.e. no locationless, earth, virtuals, events).
(5) When you are claiming a find on this challenge your log must include the GC code of the cache you are using to meet the criteria.
(6) There are no geographical restrictions - any cache on the planet, under the sea or orbiting it count.
(7) Any log without the GC Code of a qualifying cache will be deleted (unless it's just a typo and you correct it when asked).
(8) If two (or more) cachers operating as a team find a cache that meets the above criteria at the same time all may use the cache in qualifying for the challenge.
(9) If two (or more) cachers not operating as a team find a cache that meets the above criteria on the same day then it is the first cacher to find the cache on the day that can use it. In the unlikely event that 2 or more cachers claim they were the first noone can use the cache to qualify until the physical log can be inspected and then it will be the first listed cacher who will qualify.

The cache itself is a small container container a log and a FTF prize. While it is large enough for small TBs and a fair number of coins given the likely footfall I don't recommend leaving any.

The tree cover plays havoc with the coordinates. Use the clue.

It it placed in Townly Hall and I recommend parking at the small car park opposite the Obelisk Bridge. There is an entrance onto the nature trail from this point.

There is no need to leave the trail to find the cache although you will need to be at least 70" tall to retrieve it easily. Remember the Leave No Trace principles in searching for the container.

The terrain rating reflects changes in height and a trail that can be muddy after rain. The cache rating reflects the difficulty in finding suitable qualifying caches rather than the hide.
