Kent Cachers Meet #29 - Best Bib and Tucker Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Lardy_Bloke: A month gone already! How time flies.

The caches in the area are still getting some fun feedback, which is pleasing. Probably time to put this one to bed though.

Thanks to all attendees for putting the effort to join in the pointless posh-caching japes!

Toodles. --Lardy

Geocache Description:

What-ho, good people of the Kent Caching community.

It seems that the auspicious occasion of a Kent meet has fallen in to the laps of us three young bucks... What a spiffing lark!

Now, the chaps and I have been looking at these caching events, and some of the activity in the local area. It feels that people really are letting standards go; ripped jeans, tee-shirts, SHORTS! It really makes one feel quite queer indeed.

We think it would be an absolute wheeze if people would glam' up a little for this meet. Just because one is out in the country-side looking for little tupperware boxes shouldn't mean that one can't look their best, what?

Obviously, we wouldn't want you to do anything that we ourselves wouldn't do. So, we've been out to some of the caches in the environs, making sure to keep up appearances. I'm sure you'll recognise some of the locations...

With any luck, you will feel inspired to come along in your Best Bib and Tucker.

The hostelry isn't quite on the scale of Mater and Pater's mansion of course, but has been chosen for it's geographic peculiarity... Seems that to go along with the event, some kind hearted, jolly decent chaps will be placing some Glamouflaged caches in the area! Splendid! This will hopefully encourage people to get out there and snap some pictures in your sunday best, rather than sit in the public house all afternoon. (Your hosts, of course, will be!) We would be everso delighted if you are able to upload photo's taken with your attended logs.

We shall be pleased to receive guests between 12 noon til 4pm on Saturday the 18th February 2012, at:-
Sir Thomas Wyatt
London Road
Maidstone
ME16 OHG

It will be thoroughly whizzo to see some of you there!

Best regards, and jolly good wishes,
Barrington_Wine, GoodChapMozart Snr, and Lardy_Sinjun_Sinjun_Smythe.
