There is parking in Somerby at the Village Hall but wherever you
start, please park considerately.
A wide variety of cache containers have been used, all shapes
and sizes included (apologies in advance for the Micro's, but
sometimes needs must). Remember... Tweezers are a Cachers friend!
(Those and a pen, please carry one). The walk is dog friendly as
there are no stiles to negotiate but there may be livestock in some
fields. If you would like the best views we recommend an
anti-clockwise route. If you would like the easier hill climb on
the road then head clockwise. Some of the 'Leicestershire Round'
was a bit muddy when we placed the circuit in Winter, but most of
the circuit is on metalled roads.
There are some lovely pubs in Somerby as well as a Village
Store/Post Office for refreshments.
Please take care to replace caches as you found them and to
close up lids tightly. We have taken care to choose the locations
and wish to see them maintained.
