From the listed coords go 3.743 miles, 124.324° true,
I have used the "Geocaching.com Google Maps" colored icons to represent the colors of the Geocaching Logo. Zoom out to 1 mile/km for best colors.
The Greens (G) are Traditionals, Yellows (Y) are Multistage, Blues (B) are Mysteries and Orange (O) are Premium member Multistage.
The Multistage are offsets with waypoints, to make it easy, and the Puzzles are simple math, but also have waypoints if you want to do it the easy way.
Most caches are colored bison tubes, but 4 are regulars. The trail is about 9 miles from Logo VT B1 to Y17,
Many of these offset caches are beyond the usual 2 mile radius.
Most are within 50 feet of the rail trail, and most micros are about 5 or 6 feet above the ground, hanging from a branch. Regular sized caches, should be findable in winter, but might get iced over.
4 of the hides (G8, G9, G10 and O6) are on side roads with a gradual hill, but all others are from the flat Rail Bed.
Bring your own pencil, and tweezers, you know how bison tubes are?
This series of geocaches is along a 10 mile stretch of the old railroad bed now called the Cross Vermont Trail. The trailmap for section 3, Marshfield to Groton, can be found here - (visit link)
Permitted uses: include hiking, bicycling, horseback riding, Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling. Winter users yield to snowmobiles; summer users yield to horseback riders. Small sections of the trail is also used by autos to access camps.
Several parking areas are shown on the map, but I don't know how frequently they will be plowed in the winter.
Groton is noted for snow coverage in winter, and state camp grounds in summer.
Do Not drive automobiles on the snowmobile trails in the winter! They are narrow, and you might get stuck.
There is no cell phone reception, and tow bills are costly.
The snowmobile trails might be busy in winter, so be careful with your geo-dogs.
Hand warmers are recommended in the winter, and bug spray the rest of the year.
