SideTracked - St. Helier Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: Hi There

As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please note that once the cache has been archived, this can not be undone. This is explained in the Help Center - http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

You will need to create a new listing, put it back in for review and as long as it meets today's guidelines and no other caches have been published in the area causing a proximity problem, then it will be published.

Regards

Geocache Description:

Once at GZ you will see the hazards.
This is a fairly busy road with plenty of foot traffic.
Station entrance on opposite side of road, bus stops, shops and a Police "office".
Tie your laces and reach round the back.
Mind the brambles.....

This is a magnetic key holder container.
Contains only Log.
No pencil or pen so make sure you have one with you.

St Helier Station is approx. the halfway point on the Wimbledon To Sutton Line. The Line was fully opened in 1930 with St Helier serving the South West portion of the LCC's St Helier estate.
Originally a rather ugly and austere lump of concrete the station was rebuilt and is now just an open concourse with steps down to a now uncovered island platform.

Congrats to Woollaston4 for FTF...
