Vainagiu piliakalnis / Vainagiai mound

Varda ši pelkiu apjuosta balno formos kalva "pasiskolino" iš šalia esanciu Vainagiu ežero bei Vainagiu kaimo. Vietos gyventojai ja vadina Piliuku ir pasakoja, kad prie papedes kadaise vedusi medgrinda. Tai leidžia spelioti, jog senoveje cia gyveno žmones, stovejo pilis. Archeologai vietove kol kas mažai tyrinejo. 1999-aisiais atlikus žvalgomuosius kalvos kasinejimus, kulturinis sluoksnis nebuvo aptiktas, taciau pietrytineje kalvos aikšteles dalyje maždaug 40 centimetru gylyje rasti mažesniais akmenimis paramstyti trys dideli akmenys. Tyrinetoju nuomone, tai gali buti alkos (senovinines šventvietes) liekanos.
Pasak legendu, Piliuka žmones supyle rieškuciais. Kalvos šlaitai status, apie 14 m aukšcio, aikštele ovali, maždaug 40 metru ilgio ir 25 metru plocio. Jeigu viduramžiais cia buta medines pilies, ji priklause tarp Ventos ir Dubysos upiu plytejusiai žemaiciu Knituvos žemei.
