Geocache Description:

Can you log nine caches anywhere in the County of Dorset whose D/T ratings will form a complete line of 9 of the 81 D/T squares?

Hopefully this challenge cache will encourage all the present and potential future cache setters to devise more 'better quality' caches across the County of Dorset to enable the full D/T table to be filled without excessive travel in the future. This will envigorate and widen the game and encourage deviousness amongst an already quite cunning group of local cachers!!

So what is the objective?
To claim this cache you must log all 9 caches that form either a horizontal or a vertical or a diagonal line across the D/T grid, except that ALL of the caches must be located within the Ordnance Survey defined geographic boundaries of the County of Dorset.
For clarity, this challenge could be completed using logs for any ONE of the 9 horizontal lines from D1/T1 to D1/T5 through to D5/T1 to D5/T5 or any ONE of the vertical lines from D1/T1 to D5/T1 through to D1/T5 to D5/T5. You could also chose to complete a diagonal, say from D1/T1 to D5/T5 or D1/T5 to D5/T1. You can, of course log them in any order and they can be any cache type, but you MUST log ONE for each of your chosen line of D/T squares. This cache CANNOT be used to count towards your goal, should it be applicable!

This levels the playing field between new cachers and those who have been cacheing for years - there cannot be any 'instant' logging by those who have already completed their D/T grids!! Indeed, it might make it more difficult for the seasoned players and, if anything, more straightforward for the new-comers!!

You MUST write a note to accept the Challenge and your logging history starts from THAT date. Your log claiming this cache MUST include the GC numbers and dates of the nine qualifying caches - any logs without supporting details will be deleted!! You have been warned!!

The Reward?
To recognise this difficult challenge, the First to Find will receive 3 unregistered TB's; the Second to Find will receive 2 TB's and the Third to Find 1 TB.

The cache is located at the stated co-ordinates but non-qualifying logs will be deleted without recourse to the logger. The various prizes are not at the co-ordinates but will be distributed directly!!

The writing of Notes to report your progress is encouraged.

The cache can be accessed by those with disability although wheelchair users may need assistance with the final recovery and replacing.

Parking is available opposite (charges apply) and in adjoining roads (usually free) but the area is extremely busy - hence quiet night-time retrieval may be easier.

Congratulations to Mario McTavish and SeekingSalters for their amazingly quick expedition to sign-off their 9 caches and their Joint FTF....Glad you enjoyed the Challenge!! Now who is going to get 3rd place?? Well Done alex.may on getting 3rd place - the pics of you completing 'Kletter' at night are excellent!!
