Esta cache serve para mostrar um sitio magnifico onde passar umas horas ou mesmo dias de verão para relachar, estar com amigos ou familia.
O VAU: Uma praia fluvial, usada frequentemente pelas gentes da nossa terra é um sitio optimo para relaxar, especialmente no calor do verão onde nos podemos refrescar nas aguas do rio Agueda, um dos afluente do Douro, que nele desagua em Barca de Alva.
O acesso faz-se atravez de um caminho mais ou menos alcatroado a meio da estrada nacional 221 de Escalhão para Barca de Alva. È aconselhável prudencia ao descer o caminho sempre com o carro engatado a fim de evitar sobreaquecer os travões porque o declive e muito acentuado.
A Cache: A cache e um pequeno recipiente de plastico embrulhado num saco azul. Contém inicialmente uma log sheet, lapis e os habituais presentes para troca.
A cache não está dentro de paredes ou muros!
No trajecto até a cache haverá uma passagem que contem uma placa de propriedade privada, mas não se preocupem, podem seguir o caminho a vontade que esses terrenos estão entregues a Junta de Freguesia de Escalhão e estão abertos a toda a hora e a qualquer pessoa!

This cache is used to display a magnificent place to spend a few hours or even days of summer to relachar, being with friends or family.
The VAU: A river beach, often used by the people of our land is a great place to relax, especially in the heat of summer where we can cool down in the waters of the Agueda River, a tributary of the Douro River, which flows into it in Barca de Alva.
