Geocache Description:

Pirates Trail 11.

This cache is part of the Pirates trail which links our other caches together all the way from the Ancient city of Kaunos near Dalyan to the Amazing Castle series and Waterfall caches at the North end of Lake Koycegiz.
GC3A7FR.
GC1RRKT.

This series "The Pirates Trail" will be around 30 caches following the West shoreline of Lake Koycegiz. This lake is around 12.5kms in length and 4kms wide and at the time of hiding this cache there had been very heavy rainfall over a prolonged period which had raised the water level in the lake by 1 metre, an awful lot of water considering the size of the lake, parts of Koycegiz and tourist locations like the Sultaniye Mudbaths were flooded as a result, local elders say that it has been 45 years since they last saw anything like it, the cache page photos should give you some idea what the area looked like when we hid the caches.
>Koycegiz.

You are looking for a Team Marzipan novelty micro which we brought over from the UK, the reason for the cache being here is simply to show the location of the photo above so you can see what happens when you forget to turn the irrigation off .
