About Exhibit Events

A GPS Adventures Exhibit Event cache represents attendance and/or participation at the GPS Adventures Maze Exhibit. Created by Groundspeak and Minotaur Mazes and made possible by Development Sponsor Trimble Navigation, the GPS Adventures Maze is a traveling educational exhibit developed to teach people of all ages about navigation, GPS technology and geocaching. A hands-on experience that features GPS technology (its history, current uses and future possibilities), it simulates geocaching by leading visitors through a 2,500 square foot maze rich with interactive science experiences.

The Exploration Place in Wichita, KS will host the exhibit January 28 through April 15, 2012. The Exploration Place lets you experience your world in a whole new way on its 20-acre site, located along the scenic Arkansas River, in Wichita’s downtown Museums on the River district. Experience four hands-on exhibit areas designed for all ages that focus on flight, Kansas, medieval life in a three-story castle, and imaginative spaces for young children. Or head to the Boeing Dome Theater and Planetarium, the state’s largest digital dome space planetarium. Learn more about the Exploration Place.

Exploration Place Details:
Hours of Operation: Closed–Monday; Tuesday-Saturday, 10 am-5 pm; Sunday, Noon-5:00 pm.
Explore Store Hours: Closed–Monday; Tuesday-Friday, Noon–5pm; Saturday, 11am–5pm; Sunday, Noon – 5pm.
General Admission Entry Fees: Adults 12-64 $9.50; Youth 3-11 $6; Seniors 65+ $8; 2 and under Free; See pricing including Boeing Dome Theater admission here.
