Sétánk elso pontja a Badacsonytördemici római katolikus templom.
A tördemici plébánia története
1299-ben avatták kápolnáját Szent János tiszteletére. Valószínuleg a jelenlegi templom helyén állt. A török dúlás idején a tördemici plébánosok a közeli Szigliget várában laktak és innen irányították a tördemici egyház ügyeit. 1758-1783 között épül fel a jelenlegi templom elodje, amely 1821-ben leégett, de a hívek és a plébánia pénzébol újraépítik. 1860-ban ismét tuz pusztítja el , de még ez évben felépítik. 1862-ben 4 haramia kirabolja a templomot és a plébánia pénztárát. 1871. év augusztus 30.-án II. Lipót belga király felesége Mária Henrietta, aki József nádor, királyi herceg leánya volt kíséretével meglátogatta a plébániát. 1882-ben 8 változatú új orgonát szereztek be. 1899-ben Papp Imre plébános a templomtoronyba vasharanglábat építtet. 1904-ben rossz állapota miatt és mivel a hívok nehezen fértek el benne lebontják és Kankó József akkori templomatya országos gyujtése nyomán illetve a hívok adományiból elkezdik a templom építését. A templom tervei elcserélodnek az azonos idoben tervezett tapolcai templom terveivel így épült fel ebben a kis faluban a szokatlanul nagy és impozáns templom. Felszentelésére 1905 októberében került sor. A templom védoszentje Szent Mihály. Szentélyét 1955-ben Rezes Molnár Lajos festomuvész festette ingyen. a szentély falain levo angyalfejek modelljei a faluban élo 10-11 éves leánykák voltak.
1990-es években kívül belül renoválják.
A templom bejáratával szemben állva láthatunk lét lapos követ a földben a plébánia épület falához közel .Ez volt az úgy nevezett „ szégyenko” melyre vasárnapi Szentmise elott állították a tíz parancsolat ellen vétoket.

The first point of our walk is the Roman Catholic Church of Badacsonytördemic
The story of the prebystery
Probably there was a chapel in the place of this church which was sainted in 1299 in the honor of Saint János. During the Turkish invasion the parish priest of Tördemic lived int he castle nearby and controlled the affairs of the church. The previous church was built between 1758-1783, which was destroyed by fire in 1821, but it was rebuilted from the money of the faithful and the parish. In 1860 it was burned down again, and was restored in the same year. In 1862, four bandit robs the cashier of the church and parsonage. In 30th of August 1871 Mária Henrietta –who was the wife of II. Belgian King Leopold andalso the daughter of Princess Royal- visited the parish with her entourage. In 1882, eight versions of the new organ was purchased. In 1899, an iron belfry was built into the tower of the church by Imre Papp, the pastor of the church. There wasn’t enough place in this church to all the faithfuls, and also the condition of the building was really bad, so they demolished it in 1904 and they start to rebuilt it from the money of Joseph Kankó father’s national collection of donations, and donations of faithfuls. The church plans of Badacsonytördemic and the churh place of Tapolca which was scheduled int he same time was changed by accident. That’s why there is such a large and impressive church in a small village. Dedication took place in October 1905. The patron saint of the church of St. Michael. The sanctuary was painted in 1955 for free by the artist, Lajos Molnár Rezes. The girls from the village (10-11 years) were the models of the angel faces painted on the walls.
The church was renovated inside and outside in 1990.
Standing in front of the entrance of the church we can see two flat stone near the building. This was the so-called „stone of shame”. People who do things against the Ten Commandents used to stand before this stone before the Holy Mass.
