The cache is at
the
listed coordinates above. To claim a find you will need to meet
the
challenge requirements below.
This challenge will test your drive and
passion for geocaching. Only a select few will complete this
task.
Your Goal: Find 2012
geocaches
in the year 2012.
Please read the following guidelines before
you
log this cache. You must meet the requirements of this
challenge to log this cache. If you do not meet the requirements
it
will result in the deletion of your log. This is a very
difficult
challenge to complete and you may seek caches that have
varying
difficulty levels. That is why I have it rated a 5/2.5. In
reality
this cache is a 2/2.5
To claim a find for this cache you need to
find
2012 caches between January 1, 2012 through December 31, 2012.
The types of caches that you can log are the
following:
- Traditional Cache
- Multi Cache
- Unknown (Puzzle) Cache
- Earthcache
- Letterbox Hybrid
- Virtual Cache
- Webcam Cache
- Wherigo Cache
- Cito Event
- Event Cache
- Mega Event Cache
Note: If you log an Event Cache, Cito
Event,
or Mega Event Cache you can only count one find for that
particular
event. Many of these events have temporary caches that you
can
log. These temporary caches cannot be counted toward the 2012
finds. Local events such as the W.E.S.T Cachers' Cafe can be
counted multiple times because there is a unique GC code for
each
months event. The only exception is the Sittin' Round;
Talkin'
Cache Event. This event can only be counted one time because it
is
a continuously running event and has the same GC code every
month.
Caches that are only listed on geocaching.com will be counted.
No
cache finds from other listing services will be accepted.
Tracking Your
Progress:
Create a bookmark list with your 2012 caches.
Since
bookmark lists are limited to 500 caches you will need to
create
five bookmark lists. Mark them as "List #1, List #2, List #3,
ect,
ect." Once your lists are complete I will review them and let
you
know if you're good to grab the final.
If you're not a premium member please create a
Word
or Excel document with the name of the caches you found,
GC#'s,
& the days you found those caches. Once you have that
information neatly organized please e-mail me that information.
This cache should be a fun one to do. I kept
the
requirements to complete this challenge to a minimum.
