Super Bowl XIV was an American football game played on January 20, 1980 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California to decide the National Football League (NFL) champion following the 1979 regular season. Aided by two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, the American Football Conference (AFC) champion Pittsburgh Steelers (15-4) defeated the National Football Conference (NFC) champion Los Angeles Rams (11-8), 31–19, to win their fourth Super Bowl in team history. The Rams would not appear in the Super Bowl again until after they moved to St. Louis in 1995.
