THE CASH
The suggested starting pont is the car park. 1,6 km from this, at the Big Forest (Nagyerdo) of Körösladány, we turn down from the main road nr. 47 (waypoint). Here, on the widening top of the dike we can leave our car. We can get to the cache from the left hand side of the y-junction. We can easily pass by the usually drained-off crossing gate. The 19x12x4 sized plastic cache, wrapped in plastic bag, can be found in the hole of a large tree.

SIGHTSEEING IN KÖRÖSLADÁNY
Starting from the car park we can reach the Castle-park entrance by
the bycicle road. We can see the statue-park from the walkway shadowed by century-old trees, and named after the latest owner of the Castle, count János Meran. The walkway takes us to the sometime Wenckheim, later Meran castle. In front of the castle we can see the bust-statue of József Wenckheim, and of his son, Béla. The later has been
minister of interior for two years in the Andrássy-governement of 1867, then from 1871 till his death has been working as a minister for the king. Some metres from these statues we can have a look at Sándor Gyorfi' s work, the bust-statue of Lajos Tüköry.
There's a primary school functioning in the castle, bearing the name of Lajos Tüköry, the hero of the Hungarian and Italian revollution. The inquirer can find out about the history of Körösladány in the Museum.

BIRTHPLACE OF ANCIENT FAMILIES ALONG THE RIVER KÖRÖS
Körösladány lies in East-Hungary at the junction of main road 47, which connects the northern and southern areas of the region, and
the River Sebes-Körös. The River Berettyó enters the Sebes-Körös on the northern border of the village. The river runs through the village towards the Tisza, and by now is called the Hármas-Körös. These rivers with their clear water provide an exceptional habitat for fish. The countryside is rich in game animals and has exceptional natural beauty, which makes it an excellent place of recreation and entertainment for visitors coming
from towns and abroad.
The main historical characteristic of this settlement is that Körösladány had only one family landlording for a half thousand
year, from 1220 to 1720 called Nadányi family, who built its manour house at the 15th century. New settlers came after the
devastation caused by the days of Turkish rule.
The village's infrastructural conditions are extremely good, quite above the country's average. The network of telephone system was built up in the last few years, the communal system of pipelines and the public utilites are given for a long time ago.
Beside the agricultural co-operative society, the village has a chemical company owned by the Henkel, that had proved to be main
employer of the settlement. The Henkel appeared in Körösladány in 1986. The succesful cooperation resulted a joint venture, the Henkel Metakémia Kft.
By 1993 the production had been quintupled. Seeing this, the Henkel bought its partner's business share and integrated all factory into the Henkel-Magyarország Kft. Today the different products of the factory are exported to 17 coutries all over the world.
Kindergarten, primary school, library, cultural centre (with 450 placed theatre room), surgery are in Körösladány.
