Vanaf de parkeerlocatie is het een korte wandeling met uitzicht op Fort Aalsmeer met op de achtergrond Fortboerderij Dijkzicht. Een bijzondere plek in het plaatsje Aalsmeerderbrug, ingeklemd tussen de A4 en de Ringvaart van de Haarlemmermeer en de kantorenparken van Schiphol. Gelegen op de Stelling van Amsterdam (inmiddels Unesco erfgoed) bij Fort Aalsmeer(Volksmond: Fort Rijsenhout).
