Geocache Description:

A short walk in the bush, mainly on indistinct path and then off the path for the last few meters. No Need to bash any bush.

Traditional cache in the bush behind Koola park.

This is our first cache hidden after just over 100 finds. We often come to this bush and there is plenty of wildlife around. About twenty meters from the cache a wallaby died and the skeleton is lying in the grass. We have put a photo up as it will obviously not be there forever - kids find it pretty interesting to look at.

There are some steep drop offs a short way away, lovely lookouts though and if you sit quietly for long enough you may just see some creatures hopping about. Watch out for leeches when the field is wet after rain. The fields are used by Killara High School during the week and various sports people on weekends.

The cache is close to Eastern Arterial road but would not advise coming in from there or the fire trail at the bottom. Start on the field.

If you take a TB out please put one in. Very few swops at the moment because of all the TBs - will come and add some later when there is space - we live just a few hundred meters away.
