The Southern Utah Geocachers Anonymous invite you to our annual gathering to share addiction stories and other lies.
This is the 8th annual meet and greet at Golden Corral in St. George on Saturday, March 3. The restaurant opens at 8:00 AM, and cachers will be responsible for buying their own breatfast.
Come and meet your fellow cachers and have a good time.
No T-Shirts this year, at least from us.
If you are looking for some good caching adventures from drive-bys to serious hiking, here are some suggestions:
Tag Series--mostly drive-bys or short hikes. Starts at GC34P8M on the north to GC3AT21 on the south as of now. It could get longer.
The Heart series by BillionJ. Easy, mostly flat walking. The middle of the heart is GC2ZVYG.
The Papa Series--A little more serious walking, but the ridge top has quite a few access points. East end is GC35TKE and West is GC32KZE.
The Virgin Anticlyne Series--More serious hiking with some extreme ups and downs. North is VA-XXXVI and South is VA-1.
All of these are in what is called Warner Valley SE of Washington. Besides these, there are many more in the area. A pocket Query based on any of the above will provide you with all. Come ready to cache!
Also, if you have a Jeep, we will have a picture of "Jeep Row" on the wall west of Golden Corral at 7:30 AM. If you want in the pic, be there by then.
