Are you a leapling (born on a leap year)?

Did you know in many countries, it is a tradition that women may propose marriage only on leap years?

What has this to do with Geocaching?

An ongoing challenge in the geocaching community has been to find at least one cache every day of the year. You can see where you stand if you are a GC premium member on your profile page under statistics. Since it may take four years to find a cache on February 29th we decided to hold an event to make the hardest day to either finish your grid or if you're a new cacher start your challenge and get the most difficult day logged!

It will be easy by coming to celebrate the 2012 Leap year with us!

Everyone who logs an "Attended" at this event will receive the Leap Day Souvenir on their profile.

When: Wednesday, February 29 2012 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

After we close up shop we will be heading down to njdc24's event for another leap year smiley. Joins us at GC38NKH on route 206 just 25 minutes away!
