Geocache Description:

This is the fourth of my Virgin Gorge Cache sites. This one is in the bottom of the Gorge at the old Cedar Pockets rest area. It is easy to get to and is only 200 yards from the road. You only get once chance to exit I-15 going either way (about 17 miles south of St. George), so don’t miss it. Stop and enjoy the great views, stretch your legs and get some fresh air.

Of all the cache sites I’ve seen, this hiding spot was created just for a cache I’m sure. There was no question once I spotted it. However, If I were a snake I might choose the same spot to get out of the sun. Just uncover all cache sites slowly and carefully, watch and listen and you will be fine.

Most of my other sites have detailed instructions on how not to get lost. This one should be easy, so you are on your own. Have fun and enjoy.

My Virgin Gorge Overlook sites #1 and #2 are up on the north rim. Site #3 is on the south rim. They all have a Birdseye view of #4. See the pictures below.
