Geocache Description:

We have met our building limit, I'm sorry but I'm not able to take any more people for this event.

Only once every four years does the month of February have 29 days.

What better way to celebrate than by having a Geocaching Potluck event at the activity center at Shepard Of The Valley Poland.

A Leap day, also known as leap year day, is an extra day added to the month of February in a leap year. February 29 is the 60th day of a leap year in the Gregorian calendar. It occurs every four years in years evenly divisible by four except for centenary years not divisible by 400.

What better reason to have a Potluck!
That's Right Another MVCA Potluck!

Where?

Shepherd of the Valley’s Activity
Center.

301 W. Western Reserve Rd.

Poland, OH. 44514

The event will start at 6:01 PM, and wrap up at 8:59 PM.

This pavilion is owned by Shepherd Of The Valley,
and is on their Western Reserve property. It is a handicapped
accessible facilities. Parking is just outside the door, and it can
hold 50 people. Since our hosts are VERY strict about the building
capacities I need to have everyone register. You can do this by
going to Log Your Visit, and posting a Will Attend note, please let
me know how many people will be in your party.

Like last time, I'll have coffee, water, cups,
paper plates, and silverware.

I'll bring my Mystery Meatballs again.

If anyone else wants to bring something just let
us know in your log.

Hi there, I'm hoping that you'd be willing to post this on your LEAP YEAR gathering's page. Yuma Event #9 will be history after tomorrow, but i'd like to have this continue on and the leap year celebrations are an excellent opportunity to do this. EXMAN Greetings from the state of Arizona, USA On February 19, 2012 at Yuma Event #9 we'll be sending an 'explosion of trackables' into the geocache world and we hope that you'll join us. MANY of us have Travel Bugs and/or Geocoins that have been missing for 1 or more years. We've decided to re-release them 'en masse' at this event. We all love logging TBs and geocoins, so on this day we'll be making replacements for missing Coins and TBs, and we're doing it FOR FREE. We've purchased blank aluminum tags, key rings (just the round part), and little trinkets to attach to the tags. With a dremel tool we'll inscribe your coin's tracking number, and even your geoname if you'd like. Were doing this for several reasons. - We want to get more trackables out there. - We think we all can have some fun with this. - We'd also like to 'start a fire' of re-releasing trackables and get people all over the world re-releasing their own trackables. For you to help all we would need is the tracking # of any that you'd like re-released. The trackable is still yours and you can change its name and/or mission statement or whatever you'd like. We can even take a picture of it before we send it on it's way and then post it to it's page. If you have geo friends that are interested in this just send us the #s of those they'd like us to make too. Again, i think we all can have some fun with this once we get it going. Wouldn't it be GREAT for us to be able to have one from every state to release that day. And even other countries. Think about it. If you have questions as to how you can be a part of this, or to have an 'Explosion of Trackables' celebration of your own, please contact me at eelya1@yahoo.com. Please note: If you have a COPY TAG (the extra tag that came with the origional) of your Travel Bug we would prefer that you released it on your own. Thank you, Eric / EXMAN UPDATE: As of 8AM on February 18, 2012 We have filled requests for almost 400 re-releases. 25 States, 5 CanadianProvinces and 5 Countries are represented. Yuma Event #9 is over tomorrow, but this "Explosion of Trackables" doesn't have to end. Let's KEEP THIS FIRE GOING people.
