Geocache Description:

It is Christmas time and I am in the giving mood. Here is a cache for mtbikeroz.

! WARNING !

Before attempting to find this cache please review all the information in the listing in order to make an informed decision. Whenever you go into the Australian bush you are undertaking a risky activity and you do so of your own choice and assume responsibility for your own safety. Be aware of your surroundings at all times. Do not attempt any activity that may be beyond your ability, or outside of your comfort zone. The final location of the cache is near a significant drop. Take all care and caution in retrieving it, as failure to do so will expose you to danger of personal injury. Do not attempt to retrieve this cache if you are not comfortable with the level of risk involved.
Review the information in the Groudspeak disclaimer above.

I have been on many a long and difficult slog in Namadgi with and because of mtbikeroz. He enjoys a certain style of cache and I think this fits into his category.

Whether you choose to try your luck with the pickup sticks on Mavis Ridge or come in via the route from the AAWT you will be in for a very long day.

If you choose to come in via Mavis Ridge, you can research the route on Johnny Boy's Walkabout Blog here. I still believe this is a viable route, but you have to be lucky not to be hopelessly caught up in the pickup sticks.

If you choose to come in via Cotter Hut Road and the AAWT, then I suggest you follow the route mapped out in the Squirrel's Greater and Lesser rocks cache listings.

First to Find was: mtbikeroz and BatGirl&Co
