Happy Beethoven's Birthday, everybody!
Beethoven is believed to have been born on December 16, 1770, a
date that piano-playing Schroeder observes every year. This, the
25th in my Peanuts series of caches, is a tribute to Schroeder.
Schroeder is one of Peanut's original characters, having first
appeared as a baby in May of 1951. Always one of Charlie Brown's
best friends, Schroeder plays the catcher position on the baseball
team and is the unfortunate subject of a life-long crush of
Lucy's.
The above coordinates look like a great location, but all you'll
find there these days is pretty scenery. So what to do in the
meantime?
Schroeder would like to invite you to a special observance of
Beethoven's birthday, December 16 at 7 PM. He has even gone to the
trouble of printing out a schedule of events, which may help you in
