1985 was a great year for all Kansas City Royals fans, World Series Champions! I went on family vacations to KC every summer, seeing multiple games (actually seen every American league team play in Kaufman stadium). Throughout the years, I've see some amazing things in Kaufman Stadium. George Brett, one of the best baseball players of all time; Bo Jackson, hitting a 500 foot homerun, and later in the game breaking a bat over his leg; Mark McGwire (not a royal) hit a homerun in one of the most incredible seasons of all time (with or without steroids). Walking into the stadium, even though they aren't very good anymore, still to this day brings a smile to my face, GO ROYALS!
