Geocache Description:

Another chance for all cachers to get together and hopefully have an enjoyable day.

Our Venue this time is;

The PaperMakers Arms
The Street
Plaxtol
Nr Ightham
TN15 0QJ

From 12-3.

The pub is about half way around the original Shipbourne stroll, so you could possibly do the stroll and join us for a bit before continuing round the loop and heading back to the car.

Plaxtol Village has about 1000 residents, and has/had two corn mills and one paper.
Over 50% of the land in Plaxtol belongs to Fairlawne Estate which now belongs to a Saudi-Arabian Prince. Many residents of Plaxtol believe the long lasting myth of 'The Haunting of Lady Vain', described by many as a tall, fair, middle aged lady, dressed in a white gown, galloping around on her white horse. Many residents of Plaxtol claim to have witnessed her in first person, galloping through the fields of which once belonged to her, which was of course the Fairlawns Estate. Others claim to have heard her high pitched song, piercing through the summer night air.

Please let me know the number coming and if you will be eating so I can let the pub have an idea of numbers!
