Inundacni most - Lounske
"Oblouky"
Byl postaven za napoleonskych
valek (v letech 1814 az 1816), jako dulezita cast silnice z Prahy
do Lipska. Pole a louky mezi Louny a Dobromericemi byla totiz casto
vystavena zaplavam, a proto byla snaha udrzet komunikaci sjizdnou.
V pripade zvysene hladiny reky mel most umoznit bezpecny prechod
pres reku Ohri. Uz v 16. stol. nechali lounsti radni postavit na
miste dnesniho mostu most kamenny se sesti oblouky. Most z pocatku
19. stoleti ma 40 oblouku s valenymi klenbami a je 272 metru
dlouhy. Nad kazdym obloukem je na kazde strane mostu kamenny zlab
pro odvod vody z mostu. Most je mirne prohnuty. Je vyznamnou
technickou pamatkou.
Funkce mostu je patrna z
fotografie z ledna 2011, kdy byla reka Ohre opet rozlita do
sirokeho okoli.
Nasledujici historicka
lec futurologicka pohlednice pochazi dilny vydavatele E.
Fastra. Podle tehdejsich predstav autora mely na lounskem
nebi v roce 2015 prevladat samohyby lehci vzduchu, ktere hrave
vynesou i nejvazenejsi (tedy i nejkorpulentnejsi) lounske damy.
Postaci, kdyz se i v budoucnosti najde gentleman, ktery je po
zebriku vystrka na palubu. To bylo asi nejslabsi misto Fastrovy
predpovedi.

Uvodni souradnice te zavedou na
misto, kde muzes sjet ze silnice pod most a zaparkovat
geopriblizovadlo. Zde muzes zacit prochazku podel oblouku. Cestou
hledej symbol ryby (dva reverzni oblouky). Neni to prilis slozite,
netreba se vzdalovat od mostu. Az najdes, nahazis se pod
x-tym obloukem pocitano od jizniho konce
mostu.

Inundation
bridge - Louny´s "Arches"
It was built during
the Napoleonic Wars (from 1814 to 1816) as an important part of the
highway from Prague to Leipzig. Fields and meadows between Louny
and Dobromerice were often exposed to floods and therefore, there
was an afford to keep communication passable. In case of
overflooded river the bridge should allow safe crossing over the
river Ohre. Already in the 16th century Louny councilors let build
in the place of the present one stone bridge with six arches. The
bridge of the early 19th Century has 40 arches with barrel vaults
and it is 272 m long. There is above each arch on each side of the
bridge a stone trough for draining water from the bridge. The
bridge is slightly curved. It is an important technical
monument.
The function of the bridge is
evident from the photography taken in January 2011, when the
river Eger again poured into the surroundings.
The futurology postcard comes
from workshop of publisher E. Fastr. According to contemporary
ideas of the author should on the Louny sky in 2015 dominate
aircrafts lighter than air, which easily fetch even the most
esteemed (and thus the most corpulent) Louny´s ladies. It suffices
it if in the future find a gentleman who pushes them up the ladder
to the deck. It was probably the weakest point Fastr ´s
predictions.

Preliminary coordinates will lead you to a
place where you can park your car. You can start your walk around
the arches from here. By the walk try to find a symbol of fish (two
revers arches). When you find, you are under x- th arch
counted from the south end of the bridge.
