How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

Hit up this hot springs off the side of the road while searching for other caches and enjoying a float in the Dead Sea.

The cache is actually about 125 meters from the hot springs. This is because the hot springs is frequented by the local "shabaab" (young men). It is not culturally appropriate for women to go swimming there. The men here don't have bathing suits and often just swim in underwear so both parties would be uneasy.

Other than that... find the cache and men are welcome to go on to the hot springs waypoint. Go change into a swimsuit around the corner (or come in it) and go for a nice dip. The waterfall is cold water and the hot water comes from the cave in the pool. Bring a candle and/or flashlight if you want to rest deep in the cave... although it's not necessary to have these to enjoy the hot water in the cave.
