Geocache Description:

The fifth edition to the Tree Surgeon series...

And by far my favourite...

A result of the Great Storm of '87? Quite possibly.

The Tree Surgeon series is designed to bring cachers to interesting natural formations, and at the same time not hinder those after good numbers on their hunt.

The cache is a small clip lock container, and is in a camo bag.

This is a Letterbox cache, which means it contains stamps to mark your visit. Please bring a pad with you if you would like to do this.

PLEASE DO NOT REMOVE THE STAMPS/PENS AS THIS WILL SPOIL THE VISIT FOR OTHERS.

Also you may have noticed the "CITO" abbreviation attached to the cache. This stands for "Cache in, Trash out". The GZ can become quite littered in the summer months. If you would like to contribute to the upkeep of the area, please bring a bin bag and gloves with you.

Parking is waypointed.. I have also added a waypoint that shows the entrance to the footpath that you will need to head down.

This cache is part of a series but they can be done in any order.

The GC codes for the other caches in the series are:

#1: GC29DND (near Terling)
#2: GC2M0R1 (Woodham Walter)
#3: GC2MFJW (between Woodham Walter and Maldon)
#4: GC2PEF9 (Witham)

Happy Caching and good luck!
