Dort, wo man das Morillon-Gut am besten sieht, ist es wegen des Verkehrs nicht sonderlich einladend. Stattdessen soll dieser Multi von der Schönegg mit einiger Distanz um das Morillon-Gut herumführen und beim Zieglerspital enden.
Dieser kurze Multi führt abseits der vielbefahrenen Strassen und ist Kindertauglich. Der zweite Teil des Weges ist etwas schmal und nicht geteert, sollter aber - wenn es nicht grad wochenlang geregnet hat - auch mit einem Buggy machbar sein
Der Multi führt nicht zum Ausgangspunkt zurück und Parkplätze sind in der Nähe nicht sehr dicht gestreut. Deshalb ist er am elegantesten mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr zu erreichen, Anfahrt mit dem Tram 9 bis Bern, Schönegg, Rückfahrt mit Bus 19 ab Bern, Zieglerspital.

Nachdem Du hier die Fragen beantwortet und den Bahnübergang überquert hast musst Du rechts in den Fussweg abbiegen.

Löcher
Das früher hier sichtbare Schild gibt es nicht mehr. Wenn Du jedoch vom Weg aus gut zwischen den Blättern durch in Richtung Bahntrasse schaust, siehst Du, dass hier mehrere Schienen senkrecht in den Boden eingelassen wurden. Einige davon haben Löcher. Wie viele Löcher siehst Du? Nimm diese Zahl und addiere 3 dazu, des ergibt k = _

Wenn Du dem Weg ein paar Meter folgst gelangst Du aufs Areal des Zieglerspitals. Hier hat es diverse Bänke, die Dir erlauben bequem die Finalkoordinaten zu berechnen.

Nachdem Du den Cache gefunden hast kannst Du durch das Spital-Areal hindurchgehen und gelangst so zur Bushaltestelle.
Hintergrundinformationen
Dieser Spaziergang wird dich durch einen grünen Flecken führen. An schönen Tagen hast Du eine gute Sicht auf das Bundeshaus, das historische Muesum, das Münster, den Bantiger und - etwas hinter Bäumen und Büschen versteckt - das Morillongut.
Das Landgut ist seit dem 14. Jahrhundert im Besitz der Familie "von Waberen". Es hiess damals «Matten mit der rothen Schür». 1492 starb der letzte männliche Erbe der "von Waberen", worauf das Gut über eine der Töchter durch Heirat an die Familie "von Luternau" ging, in deren Besitz es bis im 16. Jahrhundert blieb. Über die Besitzverhältnisse im 17. Jahrhunder weiss man wenig. 1736 kaufte Rudolf Emanuel Frisching des Gut. Emanuel Frisching nannte die auf der erworbenen Matte errichtete, einstöckige Campagne «Morillon». Durch den Kauf angrenzender Ländereien erweiterte er das Landgut gegen Westen und Süden hin. Im frühen 19. Jahrhundert ging das Gut durch Heirat an die "von Wattenwyl", welche in den Jahren 1830-1832 abseits des bestehenden Wohngebäudes «Morillon» (wo heute der Stall steht) das heutige, streng-vornehme Herrschaftshaus im Empirestil erbauen. Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts ging das Gut wieder durch Heirat an die "von Tscharner" über. Das Herrschaftshaus ist eine der bedeutendsten palladianischen Villen des Klassizismus in der Schweiz.

The place from which the Morillon manor can best be seen is unfortunately heavy with traffic and hence rahter unattractive. Instead, this multi aims at taking you from Schönegg on a longer way around the manor to the Ziegler hospital.
This short multi leads you along small roads and paths with little traffic. It is well suited to children. The second part of the path is narrow and unsealed but should be fine with prams, unless it's been raining for weeks on end.
The multi does not return to the starting point and parking in the area is rare. The best way to tackle this cache is therefore public transport. Tram 9 will take you close to Bern, Schönegg which is right next to the starting point and bus 19 from Bern, Zieglerspital will let you get back easily.
Bicycle stand
You are looking for a magnetic nano roughly 2m above the ground. It contains the forumla for the calculation of the last part of the final coordinates. Write down the formula and please leave the laminated sheet in the nano.

Holes
The signal that used to be here has been removed. However, if you peak through the leaves, down to the railway tracks, you can see that some of those metal tracks have been placed in the ground vertically. Some of them have holes. If you continue along the way for a few more meters, you'll reach the grounds of the Ziegler hospital. You'll find various benches here that allow you to calculate the final coordinates.

Background information
This walk will lead you through some green areas. On a good day you'll have a good view of parliament house, the museum of history, the cathedral, the Bantiger - and hidden behind trees and bushes - the Morillon manor.
The estate was in posession of the "von Waberen" family since the early 14th century. At the time it was called «Matten mit der rothen Schür» («Meadow with the red barn»). The last male heir of the family died in 1492 and the estate passed into the posession of the "von Luternau" through marriage. It stayed in their posession until the 16th century. Little is known about ownership in the 17th century. In 1736 Rudolf Emanuel Frisching bought the estate. He called the single story buildings he had built on the estate «Morillon». Through acquisition he extended the estate towards the west and south. In the early 19th century the estate passed to the "von Wattenwyl" through marriage. In the years 1830-1832 they had the manor built aside from the existing building «Morillon» (where the stables stand today). Towards the end of the 19th century the estate passed to the "von Tscharner" through marriage. The manor is one of the most significant palladian classic villas in Switzerland.
