Briefly, Rodney was a thriving Mississippi river town in the 19th century. It went into decline following the Civil War when the
Mississippi River shifted two miles to the west. More complete information about the town can be found
here,

This is a virtual cache. You are to locate "Caroline Arndt" and learn the name of the country in which she was born. E-mail the answer to me to verify your find, don't post the answer here even if encrypted.
The only reason I give this cache two stars for difficulty is because of the problems finding the town itself. The road that went through Alcorn State University is no
longer open to the public. Otherwise, it's pretty simple.
Try combining this hunt with Grand Gulf and Windsor Ruins.
Note: There are signs on the property which say 'No trespassing/Proceed at own risk'. My interpretation is that the sign is there to minimize the legal liability of the property owners, not because they want to forbid respectful persons from walking on the property. Nevertheless, if you feel uncomfortable with this you may want to avoid this cache.
