St Michael and All Angels Church is situated to the west of the village, south of the site of the original mediaeval settlement - which is a scheduled Ancient Monument. It is believed that a Saxon Church stood on the present site of the Church, due to remains which have been discovered in the Church vestry, and the site of the Church has the appearance, situated as it is on a high mound overlooking the village and the Nene valley, of having been fortified in the far distant past.
A small tube, this can be done as a cache and dash, but why not visit the church and the St Michael's Thriller cache at the same time.
