Von 1836 bis 1990 wurde hier in der Sihlpapier-Fabrik von bis zu 500 Angestellten Papier hergestellt. Vom früheren Gebäudekomplex auf dem Areal blieben vier Bauten erhalten, darunter auch der imposante Kamin. Das auf dem Areal entstandene "Urban Entertainment Center" Sihlcity wurde am 22. März 2007 eröffnet und ist das erste seiner Art in der Schweiz. Es umfasst rund 100'000 m² Fläche mit Angeboten wie Gastronomie, Einkaufszentrum, Multiplexkino, Unterhaltungsangebote, Fitness/Wellness- und Gesundheitsbereich, Club, Hotel, Kapelle, Dienstleistungsflächen und Wohnungen.
Hier hat es viele Muggels. Seid also sehr vorsichtig, damit ihr den Cache nicht gefährdet.

From 1836 until 1990 up to 500 employees worked here in the Sihlpapier paper mill. Opened on March 22, 2007, the Sihlcity shopping and entertainment center is the first of its kind in Switzerland. It comprises some 100,000 sq metres of rental space with a diverse range of facilities, such as restaurants, a shopping center, a multiplex cinema, entertainment, health and fitness/wellness area, nightclub, a hotel and even a chapel. This is a muggle hotspot. Be very careful not to endanger the cache.
