"Come on Eileen" Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Southerntrekker: Hi There

As the owner has not responded to either my log or my colleague's previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it.

Please note that once the cache has been archived, this can not be undone. This is explained in the Help Center - http://support.groundspeak.com//index.php?pg=kb.page&id=70

You will need to create a new listing, put it back in for review and as long as it meets today's guidelines and no other caches have been published in the area causing a proximity problem, then it will be published.

Regards

Geocache Description:

black 35 mm film canister on magnet

"Come On Eileen" was a single released by Dexys Midnight Runners in 1982. The song was written by Kevin Rowland. The video features members of the band wearing sleeveless shirts and dungarees. The "Eileen" as featured in the video (and on the record sleeve) is Máire Fahey, sister of Siobhan Fahey, singer of Bananarama, although Rowland says that there was no”Eileen” to inspire the song, he just liked the name. Filming took place on Brook Drive, Kennington, London. The corner store which was called "Vi's Stores" in the video is at the corner of Brook Drive and Hayles Street, where this cache is. Kennington, in South London, contains attractive 19th century terraces, social housing and 21st century state of the art buildings. See attached photo of “changing Kennington”.
