Trout Trail #1 Traditional Geocache

This cache has been archived.

Truffle_Pigs: Unfortunately, I am no longer able to maintain this trail and am therefore archiving the series. I'm sad to be taking it down, but a big thank you to everyone who's done the trail over the years.

Geocache Description:

CACHE REPLACED AND MOVED 6/8/2014

Small clip and lock container; please replace as found.

This is roughly 15 metres from the path, and about 100 metres from the car park.
Unfortunately this trail is not wheelchair accessible. Sorry. :(

This walk is about 1.5km long, and there are a total of 8 geocaches in a loop. There are 4 micro caches, and 4 small caches. It takes about an hour to walk the whole loop.

On this loop you will walk past a trout farm (hence the name of the loop ), and you will cross
a railway, and walk in the woodland.

*There are NO caches placed near the railway, as it could be dangerous, so please do not look there.*

The walk is relatively flat, though there are a few steep climbs to reach some of the geocaches.
*If you are unlikely to be able to do the steep climbs to retrieve some of the geocaches, feel free to send me a message, and I will tell you the clues so that you will still be able to get the puzzle cache :)*

There are pencils in all the small caches, but there are no pens or pencils in the micro caches, so please bring your own pen.

The final cache (#8) is a puzzle cache. To work it out there are numbers=letters (e.g. x=2). Note these down as you go along, and then you can find no.8. For more information, look at Trout Trail #8.

This cache used to be at a bent silver birch, with hint "elbowed", but I have moved the cache due to there being too many nettles etc. Moved on 6/8/2014
