Many Congrats to
our good friend TurtleFan for reaching 2000 geocache finds. Nicely
done!!! 
TurtleFan's run from 1K
to 2K took just 9 1/2 months. What is more impressive is what was
included during this run:
(1) Since logging her 1000K cache, TF has added 6
states AND 6 countries to her caching stats. (she now has 21 and 11
respectively)
(2) She put together a remarkable streak of 111
consecutive days with at least one smiley. This was done during a
time she was involved in quite a bit of travel. In total, the
streak included 6 countries, 7 states and 8 different types of
caches (traditional, multi, unknown, webcam, earth, virtual,
whereigo, event)
If the streak and all the stats above were not
enough, TF continued to give back the geocaching community by
hiding 25 more hides between 1K and 2K. This included 3 events in 3
countries: US, France and Switzerland. WOW!!
For this cache, you are looking for a large
golden ammo
can in a preserve that TurtleFan has a few hides. While hiding this
one, we found an interesting item that is placed at the base of the
host. Find the item and you know you are close to earning your
smiley.
