SANTA CLAUS IS CACHING TO TOWN, Nick Named: "The Tom & Jerry
Christmas Special" A fun holiday event for all that can attend.
Might even have a couple new "Winter Friendly" caches in the area
for this event as well? Will update if "might" changes to "will".
Come join the fun at this 1st annual Christmas Holiday caching
event, with whom other then Santa Claus himself! WHERE: Park Rapids
Area Library 210 West 1st Street Park Rapids, MN 56470 WHEN:
December 3rd TIME: 10:30am to 2:30pm This will be a fun filled
holiday event with meet & greet starting at 10:30 and a holiday
theme pot luck at noon. Group photos will be taken right before the
pot-luck and gift exchange with Santa will follow till 2:30 or so.
What to bring? Let's try to keep this event and the pot-luck in the
Christmas theme. Pot luck items needed: Main Dishes Salads Goodies,
(cookies & milk sound good to me, ho, ho, ho) Note what you'll
be bringing in your "will attend" log please. Items I will supply,
plates, cups and so forth, coffee, pop and bottled water and of
course some goodies! The room we will be using has a full
kitchenette, frig, water and so forth, plus plenty of outlets for
crook-pots! Bring one gift per person attending the event that can
be put under or hung on the tree for Santa to hand out, lets keep
these gifts in the subject of geocaching fun and not to hurt our
pocketbooks, if you know what I mean? Make sure the gifts you bring
can be handed out to both male/female of ALL ages, as we will have
children at the event as well! Santa will have some gifts to
handout as well, as what's Christmas without gifts from Santa Claus
himself! Merry Christmas To All And To All A Good Night Ho, Ho, Ho,
Ho Speical thanks go out to Jerry (Uffda320) for helping me with
this event and any others that chip-in as well! We hope to see you
all on the 3rd!
NOTE: There will be a short NorthStar Geoseekers meeting following
this event, everyone is welcome. Is is a newly formed group made up
of a bunch of geocachers in this and other areas.
