Gordo's Grotto Redux Multi-cache

This cache has been archived.

Indigo Parrish: Sorry y'all -- it's time to archive this one. Thanks to all that found it and gave it a favorite point.

I'm opening up Gordo's Grotto for somebody to hide a traditional here -- that will qualify for the Barton Creek Greenbelt Challenge since multi-caches are not allowed for that challenge.

Geocache Description:

This cache is a resurrection of GCF160 : Gordo's Grotto.

The original cache listing has been archived but the cache always was (and is) still there. The location is a very cool spot worth visiting. Here's the portion of the original description that still applies:

Here's another cache in a seldom traveled area of the Barton Creek Greenbelt. You can get to this cache from the trail near Gus Fruh park or by parking near the trail head at N30° 15.321 W97° 47.038. Stay on the trail until you get to the posted coordinates. There you will find a redirector that will lead you to the actual cache. From the redirector, follow the gully up into the grotto. The cache is within 5 feet of the bottom of the gully so there is no need to climb the grotto walls. The container is a small plastic container so bring relatively small items to trade. As always in a "wild" area, be careful when grabbing the cache and realize that some of the local fauna may be found around the cache. We saw a small black scorpion living near the cache on 8-7-05.
