Janské stones (604 m)
several
basaltic rocks at a partially wooded border Hill about 1.5 km
northeast of Krompach and 300 m west of the German settlements
Hain. A group of rocks was allegedly named after the long-defunct
statues of St. John the Baptist, which is danced on the St. John
night. According to another theory, it was taken over by the name
of the old tunnels that supposedly was founded sometime between the
years 1538-1559.
The rocks
are part of the basalt vein, which, during the tertiary volcanic
activities fill the crack in coated sediments. Gradual exposure to
the weather but the surrounding sandstone in later times
preparation throught erosion and flood basalt vein so remained
alone in the form of several rock walls protruding above the
surrounding terrain. The horizontal arrangement of the four-six
sides basalt columns represent Janské stones less perfect version
of the known mean Devil's wall for the Cesky dub.
Vein
extends from the top of the Janských rocks approximately West
towards the village Walls. On the surface consists of a series of
several different discontiguous large rocks, but only three of
which are of larger dimensions.
The most
prominent is about 23 m-long peak rock wall, which was 19. century
addition. The rock is a wide 2-4 m and its Ridge gradually rises
from the ground up to the top with the viewing platform at a height
of around 10 meters. The second is approximately as large rock wall
is on the adjacent slope and third rock is on the lower forested
Summit around 150 m further on. Around rocks leads 1 km long nature
trail, the 25. November 2006. Starts at the road from Krompach to
Hain and has four stops, devoted to the history of the Janských
stones, geological structure and the local fauna and
flora.

condition for this login: this is the ertcache
1) through
a woodland path from the starting point, read all the information
boards and to answer the question which of these texts is based
...
On one of
the panes is information about a variety of geological structure of
the Luzice mountains, which are common to all three types of rocks
(igneous, sedimentary and transformed), and there are examples and
photos of the structures. The rocks are they?
2) at the
second rock are landmarks CZ-D. Of course you'll notice that the
label 18/8, because it's almost in the way. A few yards below it is
another number 19/8 (but it is on the rocks, so it doesn't look
like a rock block). At this point estimate the height of the rock
walls and measure the altitude of the height of the top of the rock
(you can easily get at him from the bench on the
ridge).
3) Find out the orientation of the rock block, according to the
direction.

Jánské
kameny (604 m)
z Krompachu
do Hainu a má ctyri zastávky, venované historii Janských
kamenu, geologické stavbe a místní faune a flóre.
Podmínkou
pro zalogování této ertcache je toto:
1)
2)
V tomto míste odhadnete výšku skalní steny a zmerte
