Dieser Cache stellt eine Verbindung zwischen Plakias und den Galapagos-Inseln her. Welche das ist, wirst Du (vielleicht) erkennen, wenn Du den Cache gefunden hast!
Wir sind im 18.Jahrhundert.
Die Zeit der Entdecker, der Walfänger und sicher auch der Piraten.
Während Erstere sich vorzugsweise dorthin begaben, wo vorher noch niemand war, und die Zweitgenannten nicht eben Spuren hinterlassen wollten, erfanden Letztere, fernab der Heimat, einsam und verlassen in den endlos erscheinenden Weiten des Pazifiks, ein ganz eigenes Postsystem, um an ihre Familien und Freunde Nachrichten schicken zu können.
Sie platzierten Fässer auf den wenigen Inseln, die sie auf ihrem Weg fanden, in der Hoffnung, daß die Nachrichten von anderen Schiffen, die sich schon auf dem Heimweg befanden, gefunden und mitgenommen wurden.
Eine Ur-Form der Letterbox also.
Genau so eine sucht Ihr - genau hier. Die Letterbox befindet sich genau an den oben genannten Koordinaten!
Um an das Logbuch zu kommen, müsst ihr noch folgende Frage beantworten:
Wie hoch ist Timeos Stavros laut Angabe auf der "offziellen" Wanderkarte für Plakias (in Metern)? Diese Zahl bitte von den Dezimalstellen der Ostkoordinate abziehen und schon habt ihr die Lösung! Sucht nun erst die Letterbox dann ist auch unmittelbar klar, wozu ihr diese Zahl braucht
Die Letterbox enthält einen Stempel mit Stempelkissen und ein Logbuch. Nimm Deinen eigenen Stempel, stemple damit das Logbuch des Caches und schreibe etwas dazu. Hast Du keinen eigenen Stempel, ist das auch ok, die meisten Cacher nutzen dann ihren Finger als Stempel. Dann nimmst Du den Stempel des Caches und stempelst damit Dein mitgebrachtes Stempelbuch. Der Stempel ist natürlich kein Tauschobjekt - bitte im Cache lassen!
Vergesst nicht, nach Nachrichten zu schauen, die ihr auf eurem Weg mitnehmen könntet!

Der Cache befindet sich auf Privatgelände, der Owner ist aber selbstverständlich eingeweiht und Ihr könnt dort völlig frei agieren - zu jeder Zeit. Sollte es euch zu muggelig sein, kommt am besten am frühen Nachmittag wieder, dann ist da meist tote Hose.

To access the cache you will have to answer the following question:
What is the height, in meters, of Timeos Stavros according to the "official" walking map for Plakias area? Please deduct this number from the decimals of the east coordinate to get the access code. After you have found the letterbox it should be clear what to do with the code.
The letterbox contains a stamp, a pad and a logbook. Take your own stamp to leave a mark and a message in the logbook. If you don't have your stamp at hand just leave a fingerprint. The stamp is no tradable item of course, please leave it in the cache!
Don't forget to check if there are any messages you may take with you on your way.

The cache is on private property but the owner has consented to its establishment. You can search the cache at any time, although it might be quite mugglish there. (You may return in the early afternoon to avoid muggles).
