This cache could be considered one of 2 things:
- a quick easy roadside along the N1 with fantastic views of Du Toits Kloof from the cache site.
- a bonus cache at the parking area at the start of the Elandsrivier and Krom River hiking trails for those who might be going on to do the caches on either of those hikes (highly recommended).
The cache can be reached when driving either direction on the N1 by following the signs as shown below. However, you can only get back on to the N1 going in a southerly direction when leaving the parking area.
As always, please watch out for muggles particularly if you are doing this cache in the early morning and/or late afternoon. The parking area is used by fishermen and hikers who may seemingly appear out of nowhere. It is also the turning point for the tunnel emergency services escort vehicle.
