Ocotillo Wells SVRA
is proud to announce Roughneck Rendezvous III, our annual
off-highway geocaching adventure! Please join us for 2 days of fun
and excitement! The weekend begins on Saturday January
28th at 7am with registration, where you will receive
your cache coordinates and other event goodies, and then you are on
your way! Once out in the park you are free to pursue any number of
the 100+ loggable caches that have been placed in the park strictly
for this event. Once you have had your fill of caching, fill your
belly at one of our many food vendor booths after you drop off your
cache booklet and receive your raffle tickets. Speaking of raffle
tickets, we have some GREAT prizes this year, so supporting the
park’s educational programs by buying a lot of them is
definitely in order!
The fun continues
on Sunday with our annual Roughneck Rendezvous CITO (Cache In Trash
Out). At the CITO you will be able to go out and get all of the
caches you might have missed on Saturday, while making the park a
prettier and safer place to play while you’re at it! And if
that isn’t enough fun all by itself, we also have a free BBQ
lunch set up for when you return from your adventures.
Ocotillo Wells SVRA
will also be offering several Geocaching 101 classes throughout the
fall. If you are interested in joining these classes please feel
