This is another cache placed in the Ginter Wildlife Management Area. This one is placed a little higher then the other caches in the area and a little farther north.
If this is your first visit to the Ginter place be sure that you stop by the "Ginter Place Cache" posted by Loblollylove.
The Pack River Rocky Top View cache will take you up on the ridge overlooking Pack River with the back drop being the Selkirk Mountains. To get to the Ginter Place turn off Colburn-Culver Road at the Northside School onto Rapid Lightning Creek Road. About 0.4 miles past the Pack River General Store turn right onto Ginter Road. Follow the signs and orange markers to the parking area. From the parking area you will head away from the river. After the gate take the first trail up the hill to your left. Other then the last 30 feet or so, you can follow a trail all the way to the cache. We came by horseback and would recommend shod horses as the trail up to the cache is a bit rocky in places. You are looking for a green waterbottle with just a log book and a pencil placed so you can enjoy the view.
