Geocache Description:

Swing -

A full golf swing consists of the backswing that carries the clubhead up to the topswing point, the downswing that brings the clubhead to the point of impact, and the follow through. If the ball dribbles a few feet or hooks or slices violently into the woods or rough, the follow-through can be extended into the foresling - a graceful, lateral motion that sends the club spiralling into the underbrush. Alternatively, the follow-through may be stopped and the club brought up sharply in a vertical arc until the clubhead is behind the back, pointing at the ground, then swept smoothly up into the more classic topfling which combines the power and accuracy necessary to send even the heaviest club into a distant water hazard.

The Crazy Golf Series of caches are located in Wollaton Park and Nottingham University Campus. I estimate that the Crazy Golf Series of caches will take about 5 hrs to complete

Wollaton hall is a grand, grade 1 listed, Elizabethan House designed by Robert Smythson and built in 1588 by Sir Francis Willoughby. It is owned by Nottingham City Council and contains Nottingham’s natural history musem. The deer roam free in the 500 acres of parkland so dogs must be kept on the leash. For full details of opening hours and parking charges go to Wollaton Hall. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE TIMES THE GATES ARE LOCKED.

The Nottingham campus was a generous gift of 35 acres of land at Highfields by Sir Jesse Boot in 1928. In 1948, the college was awarded the Royal Charter and became The University of Nottingham.

Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log.
