Geocache Description:

To find this cache will require expert operation of your GPS in the field and will take a good portion of an afternoon to complete. It does NOT require traversing any wetland; to do so would be DANGEROUS.

Waypoint 1 (N 45° 23.494 W 075° 32.907) is an old fencepost near a large tree. On this fence post are the minute portions of the coords for Waypoint 2 embossed on red plastic labels. Red labels are used throughout this exercise.

Waypoint 2 is a poplar tree where similar labels give similar details to get to Waypoint 3.

Waypoint 3 is a sign containing the number 12. At a straight-line distance of 210 metres and a bearing of 013 degrees from Waypoint 3 you will find the middle of a man-made object (~280 steps on the path from Waypoint 3). There is a red label attached under the top rail. This label has 2 numbers, representing bearings. The smallest number is the bearing from Waypoint 1 to Waypoint 4 and the largest number is the bearing from Waypoint 3 to Waypoint 4. Both bearings are relative to magnetic north (the magnetic variation in the area is W014 degrees).

Waypoint 4 is at the intersection of the above bearing lines. This intersection can be found using your GPS. Waypoint 4 is a prominent man-made object. There are labels low down on one of the uprights. The labels give the minute portions of the coordinates for Waypoint 5.

Waypoint 5 is a large White Pine tree. The cache is located there. It is a L&L inside the original ElectroSol container.

PLEASE do not include spoilers in your logs. Logs with spoilers will be deleted immediately. If you believe there is any problem with the cache setup, please advise me privately by e-mail so that I may fix them if necessary.
