Geocache Description:

The cache is not at the given co-ordinates.

The given coordinates will place you close to the following statue by the Wellington Railway Station.

This is a good place to start in order to gather the information required to complete the quest which in the main part can be done on foot. However, a note especially for overseas visitors; later in the quest the use of a motor vehicle would lessen the amount of energy expended.
Public transport can also get you within walking distance of GZ (1 to 2km)

Wellington has a number of sculptures that have emerged over the years through the efforts of various individuals, organisations, councils and government bodies. Some avid geocachers have no doubt come across these in their quest for caches . I have gathered a selection of these and put them together as a mosaic labelled A to S. (see below)

All geocachers have a gps device of some sort but to complete this quest I have decided to give you the opportunity to fine tune your map reading skills and have not given you a list of waypoint co-ordinates. Instead the map below has an approximate location for each of the mosaic illustrations. Information can be gathered in any order and you will note they are often in clusters eg the Botanical Gardens and Civic Square areas which should simplify the task.

Your task is to locate the spot for each of the photos and look for the information required that will give you the data to answer the co-ordinate questions. Generally the question will guide you to the plaque, plinth or task to complete.  A photo for double checking later would be advisable.
