Chata Rysy (2250 m) je najvyššie položená chata vo Vysokých Tatrách, obhospodarovaná len v letnom období (máj-október), postavená v odnoži Mengusovskej doliny, v doline pod Váhou. Okolo nej vedie frekventovaný turistický chodník na Rysy. This chalet (2250 m above the sea) has the highest elevation from the chalets in the High Tatras. It is open only during the summer season (from May till October). It was built in the right part of the Mengusovská Valley, bellow Váha. It is situated on a frequently used path leading to the Rysy peak.

Rysy (2499 m) sú hranicným vrcholom medzi Slovenskom a Polskom v hlavnom hrebeni Vysokých Tatier. Rysy majú tri vrcholy: stredný (2 503 m n. m.) severozápadný (2 499,6 m n. m.) juhovýchodný (2 473 m n. m.) Rysy patria k najnavštevovanejším tatranským vrcholom. Roku 1899 navštívila Rysy Marie Curie-Sklodowska (1867-1934) s manželom Pierrom a r. 1913 Vladimír Iljic Lenin. Rysy is a mountain in the crest of the High Tatras, lying on the border between Poland and Slovakia. Rysy has three peaks: the middle at 2,503 m (8,212 ft); the north-western at 2,499 m (8,199 ft); and the south-eastern at 2,473 m (8,114 ft). The north-western peak is the highest point of Poland; the other two peaks are on the Slovak side of the border. Rysy is one of the most visited peaks in the High Tatras . A world famous nuclear scientist, Marie Curie-Sklodowska (1867 - 1934), and her husband Pierre visited Rysy in 1899. Vladimír Iljic Lenin ascended to the Rysy peak in 1913, too.
Keška leží na skalnom zoskupení medzi chatou pod Rysmi a Rysmi. Je uložená tak, aby ste pri jej odlove nepútali pozornost. Prosím budte i tak opatrní – aj pri výstupe na skaly. Použite fotospoiler, pre lepšiu orientáciu v teréne. Bez neho je kešku problém dohľadať! Cash is situated on a rocky hill between the chalet under Rysy and Rysy. Please be careful and watchful. Táto geoskrýša je venovaná mojej kólií Jaške, ktorá Tatry milovala a prechodila so mnou mnoho krásnych miest a vrcholov. Bohužial, teraz už s nami nie je a preto jej venujem túto kešku na mieste, ktoré by sa jej isto pácilo. This geocache is dedicated to my rough collie Yaschka, who used to love the Tatras. Unfotunately she left us and she can´t be no more with us....Therefore, I dedicate this cache to her - on the place, that she would certainly liked.
