This cache consists of the contents, logbook, and container of the former Sweetwater GPS Cache, relocated to a new home. It still boasts a water view, and to keep it an easy and brief hunt for beginners, it's less than a quarter mile from the closest parking. The parking area is suitable for cars but be careful, it's a bit rough. I do not recommend driving a car up any of the other, smaller roads that lead from the parking area as they are badly washed out.
Wear sturdy clothing and shoes for this hunt, there are no established trails in this area. The terrain in the immediate area is somewhat steep. Please respect the land -don't dig or disturb ground cover any more than necessary, don't walk on the erosion-control devices, and try to leave the area looking at least as natural as you found it. Also, be aware that this area is closed by an automatic gate at 6PM, and doesn't reopen until 7AM.
The cache is in a lock'n'lock container, hidden and lightly covered with leaves. GPS reception in the area can be spotty due to terrain and close proximity to high-voltage power lines. Due to your elevation, when looking through the cache you will be visible from some areas at some times of the year, so try not to attract attention.
The hints below are spoilers, so don't look unless you're really at the end of your rope.
