Under the terms of the Berlin Peace Treaty of 1878 all the fortresses in the Principality of Bulgaria were destroyed. From Ruschushkata castle gate is left only Kyuntu Capua and its iron-bound door. Experts believe so - clad in iron, and seemed Bulgarian medieval gates. Capua Kyuntu gates - literally ("The Door in the tube") can be seen leaving the bridge at Ruse, Ruse called by "the snail". This is one of the gates of the Ottoman fortress Rouschouk, which passed near the line (kyunt) - part of the city water system. This water is fed fountain in the courtyard of St. Georgievski School (now Angel Kantchev) - the only preserved 18-century fountain in Ruse.
Near the gate stands the temple "Sveta Petka - Paraskeva". It is the new temple built in Ruse, a determination of the cartridge made continuity with the past. The last rock church in Ruse Polomie - St. Petka is buried after the liberation. Located to the stores for beer brewery "St. Petka". Today's church of St. Petka (arh. S. Bobchev) is interesting for its architectural plan, which repeats the famous "Golden" or "Round" church in Preslav, built by Tsar Simeon the Great.
