Geocache Description:

Up a disused hedge lined road, Cherry Pie is at the foot of a fabulous oak tree.

Cherry Lane once linked Old Amersham with the hamlet of Woodrow. Opening of the bypass that bisected the lane resulted in it being closed to vehicular traffic and is now the sole domain of dog walkers and wildlife. Rising steeply, it finishes at a metal gate that leads in to fields that have a fine view of Coleshill in the distance. A continuation of the path creates a pleasing loop that winds back in to the Old Town. This cache will lead you in to the lane and hopefully to venture beyond.
