Geocache Description:

This cache is not at the posted coords. Solve the Sudoku puzzle below to find the true coords. Those coord will lead you to a micro. The micro contains the coords to the final. Posted coords are for the closest parking. Parking, however, is limited.

Sounds easy but there are a few twists, hence the "Evil" part. First off, this is a 16x16 Sudoku, not the stardard 9x9. In this puzzle the numbers 0-9 are used along with the letters A-F. Although this cache has "Evil" in its name, it was not created by Dr. Evil1. It was inspired by his work along with the work of Madmann, Scrunchy, Mr. Yuck, MickEMT, et.al.

Secondly, the cache is in Nature View Park. Don't let the name fool you. While the name may sound nice, the park isn't. It's nearly 1,300 acres of swamp, dense brush and thorns. There is a poor excuse of a trail system there that you will have to utilize to find the cache. Poison ivy is also abundant here. While researching a place to put this cache, we came across some rather large specimens of PI. Use caution in this park, especially if you are not yet familiar with it. Know your limits.

I placed this cache when the swampy areas were dry. If you visit this cache during the wetter times of the year, the terrain rating may be closer to a seven. If you hit it at the right time, the terrain rating is probably closer to a two. Cache should be winter accessible (the swamp will be frozen...).

Update: Location has changed due to muggling. It is now a one stage cache. Solve the puzzle and go to the zero. I will keep the terrain rating where it is for those who have already found it. Terrain is now closer to a 2..

Solve the puzzle below. Each character can exist only once in each row, column and 4x4 box. Starting at the top left of the grid, read across and record each character in the green boxes. These characters are your latitude. Repeat the process with the orange boxes for the longitude. Puzzle is he same as version 1 except the colored boxes are in the wrong place. Please use this puzzle to find the coords. If you happen to be FTF, there is a special handmade gift for you.

Congrats to The Inkwell for find number 5000!
