Geocache Description:

Serie ctrnacti, prevazne mikro krabicek v oblasti Dunajovickych kopcu a v jejich nejblizsim okoli, jen o trochu vice nez 20 km v mikulovske vinarske podoblasti.

A series of fourteen, mostly micro cache boxes in the Dunajovice hills region and its near surrroudings, approximately 20 km in the Mikulov wine subregion.



V historii naseho vinarství se ve vinicich vystridalo mnoho odrud, nez se ustalilo pouzivani tech soucasných. Odrudy revy se k nam dovazely z Uher, Rakouska, Nemecka, ale i z Francie, Italie a Chorvatska. Drive se pestovaly odrudy ve smesi a hlavni vliv na jakost vina se prikládal pudnim podmínkám a poloze vinice. Vina vyrobena ze smesi odrud se nazyvala vetsinou podle nazvu polohy nebo jmenem obce. K vyraznejsimu uplatneni jednotlivych odrud pri vysadbach vinic nebo vyrobe vina dochazelo ojedinele. Nejvyraznejsi to bylo ve stredních Cechach. V Praze i okoli a na Melnice prevazovala vyrazne vysadba odrudy Pinot noir dovezene Karlem IV. z Burgundska. Ve stare cestine se nazyvala Rouci modre, nebo v okoli Prahy tez Kocinka. Na Litomericku byly vetsi vysadby Traminu bileho, který kdysi nazyvali Brynst. Tento nazev vznikl z latinskeho nazvu Vinum princeps, vino prvoradé jakosti. Vina Traminu bileho byla prodavana vzdy za podstatne vyssi ceny nez vina ostatni. Mnoho odrud pochazejicich z jiznich vinarskych oblasti, jez davaly vysoke vynosy, ale nizkou jakost vina v nasich podminkach, se postupne z nasich vinic opet vytratilo. Nejvetsi prevrat v odrudove naplni zpusobilo zniceni vinic revokazem pocatkem 20. stoleti a postupna rekonstrukce na vinice stepovane na podnoze odolne proti teto korenove msici. Spolu se stepovanim revy se vice uplatnila racionalizace v hospodareni na vinicich, ktere se pak vysazovaly v pravidelnych sponech a podle jednotlivych odrud.

Poznej podle kratkeho textu, ktery vzdy obsahuje neco specifickeho, o jakou odrudu vina se jedna. Spravne urcene odrude odpovidaji spravne finální souradnice krabicky. Ctrnact odrud bilych vin, ctrnact textu...

TATO ODRUDA JE HLAVNI RAKOUSKOU ODRUDOU. HROZNY JSOU VELKE, KRIDLATE, S MENSIMI ZELENYMI NEBO ZLUTOZELENYMI BOBULEMI. JDE O ODRUDU POZDNI A VELMI CITLIVOU NA SPRAVNE ZATIZENI KERU URODOU. JAKOSTNI VINA JSOU Z VYSADEB, KDE NA JEDNOM KERI ZRAJEPOUZE MENSI MNOZSTVI HROZNU. NEJLEPE, KDYZ SE NA KAZDEM LETOROSTU PONECHAVA JEN JEDEN HROZEN.TATO VINA JSOU POMERNE NEUTRALNI. NA PRVOHORNICH PUDACH ZNOJEMSKA MAJÍ HORKOMANDLOVOU CHUT. NA SPRASICH MIVAJI JEMNOU LIPOVOU VUNI. JSOU OBLIBENA K DENNIMU STOLOVANI A REDENA VODOU JAKO VINNY STRIK TISI ZIZEN.

THIS WINE IS THE MAIN AUSTRIAN SPECIES. THE BUNCHES ARE BIG, WINGED, WITH GREEN OR YELLOW-GREEN GRAPES. IT IS A LATE SPECIES, VERY SUSCEPTIBLE TO CORRECT LOADING OF THE VINESTOCKS WITH GRAPES. QUALITY WINES ARE FROM VINEYARDS WHERE EACH VINESTOCK HAS ONLY A SMALL NUMBER OF RIPENING GRAPES; IT IS BEST TO LEAVE ONLY ONE BUNCH OF GRAPES ON EVERY SHOOT. THESE WINES ARE RELATIVELY NEUTRAL. ON THE PALAEOZOIC SOILS OF THE ZNOJMO REGION THEY TASTE OF BITTER ALMONDS, AND ON LOESS SOILS THEY HAVE A FINE LINDEN BOUQUET. THEY ARE POPULAR AS EVERYDAY TABLE WINES AND MIXED WITH WATER THEY QUENCH THIRST.
